Center of Erie County Never Again Video Documentary |
The Driving Under the Influence video "Never Again" may be purchased from The Volunteer Center at a cost of $125.00.
A collaboration of community leaders such as the United Way of Erie County, Firelands Regional Medical Center and the Youth Advisory Board of the Sandusky Erie County Community Foundation came together to produce the DUI documentary "Never Again". The video is 20 minutes in length and talks about drinking and driving and the ramifications if you chose to do such. "Never Again" is composed of many components, including:
An Erie County, Ohio mother whose daughter was killed by a drunk driver
An Erie County resident who while inebriated was responsible for the deaths of
two individuals.
An EMT who provides care at accident scenes,
A Lieutenant with the Ohio State Highway Patrol who tells what punishments there
are for specific offenses
as well as shares pictures of accident sites.
A teacher who talks about a student killed by a drunken driver.
"Never Again" is a high impact video which is the
recipient of two National Awards, the first is the "Award of Distinction" from
The Videographer Awards in the documentary category. Second it received an
"Excellence in Communications" award from the Points of Light Foundation in
Washington, D.C.
